About Us: Remedy is a specialist recruitment agency connecting talented educators with schools across London. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a secondary school in East London.

Job Overview: As an Art Teacher, you will inspire students to explore their creativity and artistic potential. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, fostering students' artistic skills and self-expression. The successful Art Teacher should hold a PGCE and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative Art Teacher lessons.
  • Inspire students to develop their artistic abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff and other Art Teachers.
  • Participate in school events and activities related to art.

Requirements:
