The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

Outstanding Primary school in Lewisham is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join their team from September.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm.

Salary: £14 - £16 per hour (depending on experience).

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an after school setting or similar, for example: Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse.

You will also need to create high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment and provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the Club, including those with special needs.

  • Be able to plan and deliver fun and engaging activities throughout the week.
  • Assist in helping pupils with their evening meal/snacks.
  • Work alongside other after school staff.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
  • Safely chaperone pupils when being collected by parents/carers.
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety guidance.
