A well-established Painting & Decorating company is looking for an organised, proactive, and experienced Office Manager to join our growing team. This is a varied role that will be at the heart of the business, responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office while managing all finance and administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily operations of the office
- Processing weekly/monthly payroll
- Raising customer invoices and managing accounts receivable
- Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Credit control and debt collection
- Preparing financial information for the company accountant
- Maintaining accurate financial and office records
- Answering customer enquiries and supporting the management team
- General administration and office management duties
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in an Office Manager or Finance Administrator role
- Strong knowledge of payroll, invoicing, bookkeeping, and general accounts
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage or QuickBooks)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- A friendly, professional, and flexible approach
