On behalf of a modern, purpose-built elderly Care Home in Molesey, we are currently seeking passionate Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join their dedicated care team on permanent contracts.
- Day or Night shifts available with paid breaks!
- Days: 7am-2pm, 1pm-8pm or long shift, Nights: 8pm-7am
- 1 x Breakfast Assistant role available working 7:30am-10:30am
- Days: £13.45 to £14.24ph (Paid break)
- Nights: £14.58ph (Paid break)
This brand new, purpose-built Residential Care Home is run by an established charity and offers a charming and welcoming environment with a number of homely comforts and large communal areas. The 29 bedded Home has a fantastic reputation in the local area and is also rated ‘Good’ in their CQC report. The care home is commutable on public transport with a bus stop right outside the care home served by multiple bus routes. They have full or part time positions available on days or nights, as well as a Breakfast Care Assistant role working 7:30am-10:30am to focus on supporting over the busy morning period.
Full training and inductions will be provided from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members to any new Carers joining the care team, and ongoing support and guidance is always available.
Care Assistant main duties:
- Providing personal care such as assisting with bathing, dressing and using the toilet
- Support with manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using the correct equipment where required
- Work collaboratively within a team of other Care Assistants to provide a high quality of person-centred care
- Assisting residents with food and drink throughout the day
- Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their lives to the full in their later years
Desirable for Care Assistants:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker within a care home or care environment
- NVQ’s within Health and Social Care / the Care Certificate (Full training will be required)
