Remedicare Staffing are currently seeking an experienced Care Home Quality Assurance Manager to oversee daily activities of a valued care provider in the Waterlooville area, currently operating 2 Residential Care Homes. The ideal candidate will have proven success of overseeing multiple Residential or Nursing Homes with a strong knowledge of compliance. You will have previous home management experience with a good CQC record, as well as preferably previous experience at a multi-site level with a keen eye for detail. Care Home Managers with at least 3 years of successful management experience within Residential and Dementia care are encouraged to apply, as are established Quality Assurance and Operations Managers looking to work with a small but growing family-owned organisation. This is a full time, permanent role covering 2 Residential Care Homes in the Waterlooville area of Portsmouth (totalling 55 residents) with an annual salary of ÂŁ(phone number removed) per annum. (Negotiable for the right candidate). A 20-bed extension is in preparation at one service to take the home up to 50 beds, to be completed by the end of 2026/start of 2027.
Care Home Quality Assurance Manager Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Quality and Compliance of the 2 sites, utilising regular spot checks and audits, and carrying out full home inspections to push towards “Outstanding” CQC ratings.
- Able to lead on any safeguarding investigations from start to finish, including interviews and report writing, supported by the Operations Director where appropriate.
- Maintain training compliance, hands on in the homes identifying areas of improvement and further developing staff.
- Alongside the Management team develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure the very highest level of care provision is achieved.
- Deal with any day-to-day operational issues alongside the Operations Director, for example complaints, dealing with families and local authority.
Care Home Quality Assurance Manager Skills and Qualifications
- Preferably proven experience in a Senior Management / Compliance Management role within a care setting.
- Previous Home Management experience with a strong CQC record (Essential).
- NVQ Level 4/5 or Registered Managers Award minimum.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
- Full UK drivers licence and own vehicle.
