We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join the friendly team at an attractive purpose-built Nursery in Godalming on a full time, permanent basis. They have an Outstanding OFSTED report and a fantastic reputation in the industry.
The Nursery is a welcoming space that ensures a secure and engaging environment for early learning, featuring tailored rooms to promote independence and learning. This Nursery also offers a fantastic outdoor play area, giving the children a fun environment to support and further develop them on their journey.
As Deputy Nursery Manager you will join the leadership team and support with the day to day management of the site. Within this you will lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard and quality of care. You will be conversant with all educational standards and OFSTED requirements, and able to step in to support wherever needed within the setting.
This is a full time, permanent Deputy Nursery Manager role paying a starting salary of up to £40,000 per annum working for a supportive and established employer. Experienced Room Leaders with at least Level 3 in Early Years Education / CACHE are encouraged to apply.
Deputy Nursery Manager profile:- Level 3 Childcare / CACHE / Early Years Qualification or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory experience within a Nursery setting (E.g. Room Leader, Third in charge, Deputy Nursery Manager)
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in all aspects of daily running to ensure the provision is of the highest quality
- Leading safeguarding for the setting, putting the welfare and safety of the children above all else
- Liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
