Our Client in Cranleigh, Surrey is a beautiful care home providing 40 spacious ensuite bedrooms including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Care Assistants to be part of the care team looking after our residential and dementia residents. Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times. We are looking to recruit experienced Senior Care Assistant’s who hold a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and have a sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards. You will have supervisory experience, Medication administration experience (& relevant qualification) as well as being a supportive mentor to the care assistants. Requirements for the Senior Care Assistant Essential: * At least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care * Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care * A compassionate and caring nature * Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems * Ability to lead and motivate staff members * Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team * A flexible approach to working hour This Senior Care Assistant position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
