Senior Support Worker – Bideford (Job ref – PK77420)
Our client in Bideford is an established Residential Care Home which provides person-centred support for up to 14 residents with learning disabilities in a comfortable and supportive environment. They are rated Good in their most recent CQC report and a part of a welcoming, independently owned care company.
The Care Home offers free on-site parking set close to picturesque North Devon countryside. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join their passionate team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
Senior Support Worker pay rates starting at: £15.03+ per hour!
These are full or part time, permanent roles working a mix of long and short shifts and working 1 weekend in 3.
Week 1: Mon-Thurs, Week 2: Mon-Fri, Week 3: Sat & Sun plus 1 weekday
Requirements of the Senior Support Worker role:
- Senior Support Worker with previous experience working within care or supported living as a Senior / Team Leader
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (Preferred but not essential)
- Medication training
Responsibilities of a Senior Support Worker:
- Administer medication
- Work collaboratively and lead a team of Support Workers
- Helping to run the shift, hands on supporting the floor.
