Our client in Ewhurst, Surrey is a beautiful 38 bedded elderly care home that is rated Good in all areas in their CQC report. They now have an exciting opportunity for motivated and experienced Health Care Assistants to join their passionate team on full or part time, permanent contracts.

Health Care Assistant

* £13.00-14.00 per hour

* Days and Nights available

* 12 Hour shifts (8-8 shifts)

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferred

This is a beautiful 38 bedded Residential Care Home specialising in elderly care in the Cranleigh area. The Care Home is seeking passionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants (preferably with previous care home experience) to join their care team on permanent contracts.

As a Health Care Assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care team.

Requirements of a Health Care Assistant

* Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards)

* Experience of working with the elderly especially dementia

* Satisfactory Police Check and check against the DBS List

Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant

* Observe care planning needs for residents and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.

* Provide comprehensive care for residents, attending to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while preserving their comfort and dignity.

* Maintain high levels of care by assisting residents with daily living tasks such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing
