Group Finance Manager Salary: £55,000 + annual bonus Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Office-based, close to Liverpool Street Station Care homes: 7 We are recruiting for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join an established care group currently operating across 7 care homes. This is a hands-on management role, ideal for an experienced finance professional who already has knowledge of the care sector and has previous experience managing a finance team. The role You will oversee the group's finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and effective day-to-day management of the finance team. You will currently manage a team of 2, while working closely with senior management and the wider operational teams across the group. Key responsibilities * Oversee the day-to-day finance function across the group * Manage and support the finance team * Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports * Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning * Monitor cash flow, income and expenditure * Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting * Maintain strong financial controls and processes * Work closely with Home Managers and senior management * Support financial decision-making across the 7 care homes * Ensure compliance with relevant financial requirements * Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems About you We are looking for someone with: * Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar * Previous experience within the care sector is essential * Experience managing and developing a finance team * Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts * Excellent organisational and analytical skills * Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge * Good communication and leadership skills * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities * A practical, hands-on approach to finance Package * £55,000 salary * Annual bonus * 40 hours per week * Office-based role close to Liverpool Street Station * Opportunity to join a growing group operating across 7 care homes
