On behalf of an established Nursery in the Fleet area, we are actively recruiting for a passionate Deputy Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Nursery is based in a large, self-contained building which has been thoughtfully renovated and designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. They offer dedicated spaces for each age group, ensuring tailored learning and development at every stage.
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be a crucial member of the leadership team and support with all aspects of the day-to-day management of the site. Within this, you will lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard of learning and care. You should be familiar with all educational standards and OFSTED requirements, and possess the ability to wear all different hats and step in to support wherever needed within the setting.
This is a full-time, permanent Deputy Nursery Manager role paying a starting salary. You will be working for a supportive and established employer with a fantastic reputation. Experienced Third in Charges with 2 years’ experience and Level 3 or above in Early Years Education / Childcare are encouraged to apply.
Nursery Deputy Manager profile:- A minimum of Level 3 Childcare / CACHE / Early Years Qualification or equivalent
- Paediatric First Aid
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and current childcare legislation.
- Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting (E.g. Third in Charge, Deputy Nursery Manager, Nursery Manager)
- Supporting the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire a varied team of early years professionals
- Support with safeguarding for the setting, putting the welfare and safety of the children above all else
- Regularly liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
- Deputising for the Manager in their absence
