An exciting opportunity is now available for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join my client’s team at their vibrant, not-for-profit nursery in Croydon as an Early Years Educator! At my client’s nursery, the focus is on equipping children with essential life skills and preparing them for a smooth transition to Reception. They offer a beautiful garden with a forest area, a well-stocked library, vibrant rooms with age-appropriate activities, and weekly extracurriculars like football and dance. The sensory room adds a calming touch, making this a fantastic opportunity to nurture young minds in a fun, engaging environment. Early Years Educator job details: * £13ph * 4 or 5 days a week * Full Time Contracted * Open 51 weeks a year Early Years Educator Main Duties: * Provide outstanding care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a fun, stimulating environment. * Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development in line with EYFS. * Observe and track children’s progress, celebrating their milestones and achievements. * Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. * Be a role model for positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional growth. * Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times. * Tailor activities to meet each child\’s individual needs and learning style. * Maintain a clean, organised nursery room, ready for each day’s adventures. * Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development. * Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and Senior staff to create a fun, supportive environment for both children and staff.
