An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established and highly rated 70-bed nursing home in Waltham Abbey. The home delivers high-quality general nursing and dementia care, with a strong, supportive management team and a ‘Good’ CQC rating across all areas. This is a key leadership role ideal for a nurse who enjoys balancing clinical practice with team leadership and operational input.
The Role:
- 40 hours per week, split between clinical shifts and supernumerary (non-clinical) leadership duties
- Support the Home Manager with clinical governance, staff mentoring, and regulatory compliance
- Lead by example on the floor, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care
- Oversee medication management, care plans, risk assessments, and audits
- Be a point of contact for residents, families, and staff – ensuring consistent, high-quality support
Requirements:
- Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
- Previous experience in a senior nurse or clinical lead role
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and best practices in elderly care
- Confident in staff supervision, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
