We are currently supporting a major global transformation programme seeking an experienced Operating Model Design SME to join a high-profile Third Party Risk transformation initiative. This is a key role within the Operating Model workstream, focused on designing and developing detailed target operating models across a complex global organisation. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in operating model transformation, organisational design, governance frameworks, and global change delivery within large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support detailed Operating Model design activities across the Operating Model workstream
- Translate high-level operating model principles into detailed target-state operating model designs
- Develop detailed NTTP and ETP operating model structures, governance frameworks, processes, and delivery models
- Partner closely with Policy & Procedures and Technology & Tooling teams to ensure alignment between governance, process, policy, tooling, and operating model design
- Support organisational design activities including:
- FTE modelling and workforce sizing
- Location strategy and resource distribution
- Team structures and reporting lines
- Role definitions and capability mapping
- Develop and maintain:
- Operating model documentation
- Organisational structures
- RACIs
- Governance models
- Job descriptions
- Process interaction models
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to validate requirements and target-state designs
- Identify process dependencies, operational risks, and implementation considerations across global teams
- Ensure operating model designs are scalable, practical, and aligned to strategic and regulatory objectives
- Support implementation planning and transition activities where required
- Produce high-quality design documentation, presentations, and stakeholder materials
Required Experience
- Strong expertise in Operating Model design and organisational transformation within large, complex global organisations
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale target operating models
- Demonstrable experience developing:
- Operating model structures
- Organisational designs
- Governance frameworks
- RACIs and role definitions
- Capability models and job descriptions
- FTE models and location strategies
- Strong understanding of operational processes, governance, and organisational design principles
- Experience working across business, operations, risk, technology, and transformation functions
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation capabilities
- Ability to simplify complex organisational concepts into practical and implementable solutions

- Experience supporting Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programmes
