- We're working with a leading financial services client who is looking for an experienced
Project Manager / Scrum Master to join their team on an initial contract through to the end of the year.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile data and analytics initiatives within a fast-paced Agile environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of key projects, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and working closely with technical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This is a hands-on delivery role that requires someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery across Agile workstreams within a financial services environment.
- Facilitate and manage Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Work closely with technical teams, removing blockers and ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.
- Manage delivery plans using Wave Planning techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Strong technical understanding of Data, Analytics and associated tooling.
- Proven ability to work effectively with technical delivery teams and communicate confidently with engineers, architects and developers.
- Certified Scrum Master with experience leading Agile delivery.
- Experience of Wave Planning and iterative project delivery.
- Strong project delivery background within the financial services sector.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) initiatives.
