We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major financial services transformation programme focused on operating model design, process optimisation, and business change initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a complex, enterprise-scale environment, supporting strategic transformation activities across Technology, Operations, Risk, and Product functions.
The Role
You will support a large-scale operating model transformation programme, helping to define and improve business processes, governance structures, and operational frameworks across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams, you will gather and translate requirements into clear, structured deliverables that support implementation and operational improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operating model design and enhancement initiatives across the programme
- Engage with stakeholders across Business, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Product teams
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to identify process gaps and target-state improvements
- Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for implementation teams
- Produce and maintain key business analysis documentation including:
- Business and functional requirements
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process maps and operating model documentation
- Stakeholder analysis and workshop outputs
- Requirements catalogues and governance documentation
- Document current-state (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) processes and operating structures
- Support process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify operational inefficiencies, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with delivery teams to support implementation activities
- Ensure requirements remain traceable, prioritised, and aligned to programme objectives
Required Experience
- Proven Business Analysis experience within transformation or change programmes
- Strong experience in process design, operating model design, or continuous improvement
- Experience producing:
- As-is / to-be process maps
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Requirements catalogues
- Operating model and governance documentation
- Stakeholder analysis artefacts
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation capabilities
- Ability to work across business, operational, and technology stakeholders in complex environments
Highly Desirable
- Experience within any of the following areas would be highly advantageous:
- Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Supplier management or procurement operating models
- Operational Resilience (OpRes)
- Financial services transformation programmes
- Governance or organisational design initiatives
- Large banking or regulated financial services environments
