This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to take on a hands-on, autonomous role within a supportive environment.

Payroll Clerk Role:

As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the business. Working closely with the finance and HR departments, you will ensure employees are paid correctly, on time, and in full compliance with all HMRC regulations.

Payroll Clerk Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll for a multi-site workforce.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Calculate pay, hours, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, and holiday pay.
  • Submit RTI reports to HMRC and manage PAYE, NIC, and pension contributions.
  • Administer starters, leavers, changes to salary, and contractual adjustments.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
  • Assist with year-end duties including P60s, P45s, and P11Ds.
  • Support with ad-hoc payroll and finance administrative tasks as required.
