Built on exceptional customer service, local market expertise and long-standing client relationships, our client is looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Negotiator / Assistant Branch Manager to join their successful Newbury branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Negotiator ready to take the next step in their career, or an existing Assistant Branch Manager looking to join a forward-thinking independent agency where hard work and success are genuinely recognised and rewarded.
The Role
Working alongside the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the success of the branch. This is a hands-on, sales-focused position where you'll be expected to generate new business, win instructions, negotiate sales and support the wider team in achieving ambitious targets. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships and isn't afraid to pick up the phone to create opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Conduct market appraisals and secure new property instructions.
- Negotiate offers and manage sales through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers and solicitors.
- Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the office.
- Coach and mentor junior team members where required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process.
- Consistently achieve and exceed personal and branch targets.
About You
- Previous experience within residential estate agency.
- Currently working as a Senior Negotiator, Valuer or Assistant Branch Manager.
- A proven track record of winning instructions (listing properties) and generating new business.
- A confident, competitive negotiator with excellent closing skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively generating opportunities-you won't be afraid of the phone.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, target driven and commercially aware.
- Ideally live within a 30-minute commute of Newbury and be committed to building a long-term career within the local property market.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
