As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of a range of fire and security systems across multiple client sites throughout Hampshire and Dorset. This mobile role is suited to someone who enjoys working independently, fault finding, and delivering excellent customer service on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Fault finding across fire & security systems
- Maintenance of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- Completing compliance paperwork and service reports
- Attending reactive callouts when required
- Working across residential, HMO, housing association, and commercial sites
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
Essential Qualities
- Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
- Experience servicing and maintaining multiple systems
- Good fault-finding ability
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong customer-facing skills
Desirable Qualities
- Experience within housing associations or HMOs
- FIA, ECS, or relevant industry certifications
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting systems
