Role Description
The Health, Safety & Quality Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the business and its employees. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance across Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and Accreditation requirements, while helping to provide a safe and effective working environment for both office-based staff and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining company accreditations and management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CHAS, Alcumus, SafeContractor, NSI and WEEE
- Managing internal and external audits and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Keeping up to date with H&S legislation and implementing changes to policies and procedures
- Reviewing RAMS, PPE requirements, tooling and safe working practices
- Investigating accidents and near misses and managing required HSE reporting
- Carrying out site visits and supporting our engineering teams with H&S compliance
- Maintaining training matrices, employee certifications and training records
- Supporting our apprentice training and development programme
- Managing subcontractor compliance, qualifications and documentation
- Overseeing equipment inspections, testing, vehicle checks and relevant asset records
- Supporting DBS/security vetting and wider HR compliance where required
- Maintaining Emergency, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
You’ll work closely with our management team, employees, engineers, clients and external providers to continually improve standards across the business.
