A large retailer is now looking for a warehouse planning manager reporting to the General Manager.

The ideal candidate will need to have a background in Distribution and FMCG.

With the site covering 370,00 sq. ft.

A National Distribution Center picking over 6k SKU’s for over 850 stores.

A Direct Import receiving operation and home to our National Returns operation, you will lead a team of 14, developing plans for the site to meet future workload demands and identifying and arranging for the appropriate resources and equipment to be available.

As the Warehouse Planning & Inventory Manager you’ll report directly into the site General Manager and work closely with Operations, Transport and Shift Managers to maximise labour and asset utilisation, in turn improving customer service, reducing costs and achieving workload targets.

Collating all necessary site operational reports and data and the submission of these, in line with required timescales.

Analysing all operational data to identify trends, using this information to proactively influence forecasting and;

  • As the Planning & Inventory Manager your main responsibilities will include:
  • Producing a daily operational plan to meet the demands of Goods Intake, Pick, Dispatch and Reverse Flow activities.
