Leading retailer is now looking for a Senior Operations Manager for their large distribution centre.
Reporting to the General Manager.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years experience within distribution gained within a FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Warehouse budget of £18 million.
- Oversee 6 warehouse shift managers.
- Manage a 575,000 square foot chilled and ambient warehouse with budget control of £32 million.
- Service 120 stores in the South of England.
- Lead a workforce of 700 delivering 400,000 units per week (1.1 million at peak) on a fleet of 60 tractors and 190 trailers.
- Ensure union compliance and have previous unionised environment experience.
