Reporting to the COO, the ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Relations, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in business development, commercial management, or regional sales roles, preferably in logistics, secure transportation, or high-value industries.
- Deep knowledge of regional market landscapes, regulatory environments, and cultural business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Sales Growth & Strategic Opportunity Development: Identify, target, and convert high-value commercial opportunities across all sectors (Fine Art, Luxury Goods, Precious Metals, Mining). Build a strong, sustainable pipeline of deals aligned with regional market dynamics and sector strategies. Act as the regional commercial leader, owning regional opportunity while working in close collaboration with sector heads on key accounts.
- Local Market Intelligence & Risk Awareness: Translate local intelligence into actionable strategies that support faster, smarter commercial decisions. Provide real-time insights into regional market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory changes, and operational risks. Enhance trust and credibility with clients across multiple sectors, helping to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. Establish client relationships through in-region presence, culturally attuned engagement, and rapid responsiveness. Identify, onboard, and manage regional logistics, security, insurance, and support partners. Ensure partner networks meet quality, flexibility, compliance, and commercial standards. Negotiate favorable commercial terms to support competitive service offerings. Adapt and refine service offerings to fit specific regional needs and client expectations. Work with Sector Heads to shape customized, market-relevant solutions that increase competitiveness.
- Commercial Execution Support for Sector Heads: Act as the execution bridge between sector strategies and local market delivery. Support deal structuring, costing, pricing input, and proposal development with regional-specific intelligence and expertise.
Additional Requirements:
- Proven success in building and managing strategic client relationships and delivering significant commercial growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing and managing regional partner networks.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global sector teams.
- Commercially astute, with experience in deal structuring, pricing strategies, and risk management.
- Fluent English is essential; Arabic and additional language skills are highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
