Specialising in high-risk industries, including renewable energy (wind), oil and gas, maritime, utilities, construction, and facilities management.

At Rely On UK, we prepare professionals for some of the most safety-critical and demanding industries.

We are now looking for an full time Electrotechnical Instructor to join our team at our Rely On Training Centres.

Your role

  • Delivery of high quality training and carrying out assessments of various accredited qualification such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Inspection & Testing and also customer specific bespoke training programmes.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with relevant procedures during all hands-on training activities.
  • Mentor and support participants through challenging exercises and scenarios.
  • Work closely with clients to design training that meets real-world operational needs.
  • Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who

  • Has hands-on experience electrical installations, both domestic and commercial
  • Is confident, and have a passion for safety, training and workforce development.
  • Can communicate technical knowledge in a clear, engaging way.
  • Values precision and safety in every task.

Qualifications & requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • C&G 2391- Inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations
  • NVQ L3 in Electrical installation
  • Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent).
  • Renewables such as Electric Vehicle charging, Solar PV and energy storage
  • Experience of a safe system of work
