Specialising in high-risk industries, including renewable energy (wind), oil and gas, maritime, utilities, construction, and facilities management.
At Rely On UK, we prepare professionals for some of the most safety-critical and demanding industries.
We are now looking for a full time Legionella Instructor to join our team at the Rely On Training Centre.
Your role
- The main aspect of the role will be delivering Legionella Control and other Water Systems related training courses within our centres, and also on customers premises.
- The role will also involve working closely with the Operational Training Team to maintain and develop courses and ensuring their accuracy.
- Working with sales and marketing to respond to customer enquiries.

We’re looking for someone who
- Has hands‑on experience working on hot and cold water systems.
- Is confident, and have a passion for safety, training and workforce development.
- Can communicate technical knowledge in a clear, engaging way.
- Values precision and safety in every task.
Qualifications & requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Extensive experience in at least one of the following legionella control measures such as:
- Fulfilling the role of the legionella Responsible Person
- Working in healthcare applying HTM04-01 measures
- Experience working with evaporative cooling systems
- or experience in plumbing with good working knowledge of the Water Regulations Guide with experience of Water Regulations, Unvented Hot and Cold Water.
- Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent).
- Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent).
