About the role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Sports Therapist to join The Fit Factory.

You will support members and clients with recovery, rehabilitation and maintaining an active lifestyle, working alongside our fitness team in a welcoming gym environment.

The role includes one-to-one consultations, sports therapy treatments and tailored rehabilitation support within your qualifications and professional scope of practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ needs and agree appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.
  • Deliver sports massage, soft tissue treatments and sports therapy within your training and competence.
  • Provide tailored exercise and mobility guidance, review progress and adapt plans.
  • Work with our trainers to support clients returning to exercise, with client consent.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and obtain informed consent.
  • Recognise when clients need referral to another appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Keep treatment areas and equipment clean, safe and professionally presented.

Essential requirements

  • A recognised Sports Therapy qualification relevant to the treatments offered.
  • Confidence in client assessment, treatment planning and rehabilitation support.
  • Good communication skills and a caring, professional approach.
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable experience

Experience in a gym, sports club or therapy setting would be an advantage. A boxing background or experience supporting combat-sport participants is helpful, but not essential.
