As a Security Culture Analyst II, you will support the Information Security Awareness team by maintaining, measuring, and reporting on security awareness initiatives to strengthen secure behaviours across the organization. The role works cross‑functionally and suits individuals with backgrounds in training, communications, marketing, information security, IT, or compliance. You will help communicate security risks—especially within regulated environments—collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities to drive broad security awareness.

Additionally, you will provide IS and cybersecurity consulting to internal and external clients, identify key threats and business risks, and help define security policies, processes, and technology solutions to reduce system and network vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain security awareness training and resources (e.g., onboarding modules, refresher training, secure coding training).
  • Create clear and engaging internal communications, using accessible and inclusive writing practices.
  • Track and support adherence to security policies, including annual updates and audit preparation.
  • Support internal and external audit requests by collecting and organizing required information.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Security Culture inbox and assist colleagues with security‑related questions.
  • Manage the phishing awareness program, including simulations, training, and reporting.
  • Support the Security Champions program and contribute to awareness campaigns and events, including Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
  • Maintain and update content on the Security Culture website.
  • Prepare reports and metrics to measure program impact.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in information security, training, communications, marketing, project/program management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with Visio or Power BI is a plus.
  • Awareness of IT security standards (e.g., ISO‑27001) is helpful.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and work independently.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Occasional domestic or international travel may be required (up to 25%).
