About the Role
We are looking for a Product Documentation Specialist to join the UKI Product team. In this role, you will create and maintain high‑quality product documentation that supports both internal teams and customers. You will help define documentation standards, improve content delivery, and work closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and easy to understand.
Responsibilities
- Create clear, concise documentation such as user guides, API introductions, release notes, and technical explainers.
- Work with product managers, engineers, UX, quality assurance, sales, support, and other stakeholders to gather information on product features and updates.
- Translate complex technical concepts into content suitable for a range of audiences, including developers, end users, and internal teams.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect product enhancements, changes, and fixes.
- Manage and develop the product knowledge base, establishing practical documentation standards and guidelines.
- Partner with teams across the organisation to create consistent responses for recurring product questions.
Requirements
- Experience in technical writing, product documentation, or a related field.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams in an agile or fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with documentation or content‑management tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker) is helpful but not required.
- Understanding of software development processes is beneficial but not essential.
