  • Leading contracting efforts to put often complex MSA, Order Forms, and NDAs in place as required, liaising with the GP Contracts Managers and Group and Divisional legal teams as appropriate.
  • Managing and aligning stakeholder requirements and expectations to category strategy.
  • Helping to identify opportunities, facilitating the strategic sourcing process for new projects and ensure the business achieves the optimal commercial/service delivery mix.
  • Developing relationships with Software suppliers to ensure consistent delivery and value creation while implementing an effective Supplier Relationship Management Program for all relevant suppliers within the category space.
  • Contributing to cost savings goals through successful identification, participation in and completion of projects.
  • Ensuring that all relevant systems and tools are supported, including listing all significant procurement projects in the global procurement pipeline and updating accordingly and ensuring all agreements are loaded into the GP contracts database.
  • Ensure category spend is correctly categorized on an ongoing basis.
  • Working with Global Procurement PMO and business stakeholders to assess and approve/reject new suppliers in categories of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Have a relevant education background in procurement, finance, or related field; CPM/CIPS certification is a plus.
  • Have significant experience with strategic sourcing, procurement best practices, category management, managing supplier relationships, business process improvement, with an in-depth knowledge of various Technology categories and trends, including enterprise software, cloud solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Display excellent analytical/quantitative skills that have produced demonstrable successes with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Be able to coordinate and manage multiple programs/engagements that involve multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines and changing market conditions.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively between internal and external partners (often at highest levels of the organization).
  • Have experience writing and generating RFPs, RFIs and RFQs to suppliers.
