Responsibilities:
- Partnering with and leading large offshore resources to solve complex business needs, serving as the technical contact.
- Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback.
- Writing advanced complex code for computer systems, acting as a senior source of expertise, performing reviews, and leading development.
- Acting as an acknowledged go-to person on coding and technical issues.
- Recommending technical strategy and direction across functional areas, participating in the development and evolution of architecture.
- Working directly with customers and end-users, and providing design input across a product.
Requirements:
- Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Have excellent knowledge and experience in project planning and management tools.
- Have substantial Software Engineering experience.
- Have experience in staff resourcing and management, including partnering and offshoring resourcing models.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, able to think analytically.
- Be expert in development languages like JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, and environments such as Windows, UNIX.
- Be a natural problem-solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience.
- Have great experience in code reviews and development approaches.
- Be very proficient in database technology, design and manipulation, optimization, and best practice.
