About the Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Paralegal to join the Hub and contribute to the future development of Lexis+ UK, LexisNexis UK's online practical guidance and research product. This 12-month fixed-term role focuses on the practice areas of Banking & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency, Financial Services, and Insurance. You will help create, review, and enhance practical legal guidance while supporting product and platform improvements that deliver value to legal professionals.
In this role, you will be contributing to:
- Practical Guidance content, which provides legal practical guidance and market insight that a busy front-line practitioner can read and digest quickly and easily.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the practical guidance teams and the external commissioning team to commission and draft practical guidance.
- Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy.
- Draft practical guidance content including practice notes, checklists, and precedents.
- Collaborate with external authors regarding externally written content.
- Arrange and take notes at Consulting Editorial Board and other meetings and liaise with board members and authors as required.
- Have input into the development of technical solutions with product teams to improve guidance and research delivery.
- Assist with projects to improve the functionality of LexisNexis online materials, including testing and content updates.
- Participate in internal feedback activities and support feature development for the online legal platform.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic qualifications and strong legal research and writing skills.
- Demonstrates an interest in, and some knowledge or experience of, law and legal practice.
- Customer-focused with a desire to understand and respond to customer needs and feedback.
- Able to communicate knowledge and information clearly and succinctly in plain English.
