Position Overview
At iScience, Cell Press, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Editor to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of scientific advancements, managing the peer review process, making editorial decisions, and collaborating with researchers across various disciplines.

UK, Amsterdam, or Munich.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess submitted research papers
- Oversee the peer review process
- Establish relationships with researchers
- Recruit high-quality submissions
- Coordinate review content
- Represent the journal at scientific meetings
- Collaborate with editorial board members and colleagues
Qualifications
- PhD in a life science discipline, preferably with expertise in Microbiology
- Post-doctoral experience is a plus
- Editorial experience is desirable but not required
- Broad scientific interests and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and prioritization abilities
- Creativity and willingness to improve
