About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients in the Banking, Payments and Lending industries. You will build strong client relationships, manage project timelines, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand client needs and objectives, and propose tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, strategy) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on account status, including insights, performance metrics, and forecasts.
- Address client issues and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients (upselling/cross-selling) and work with new business to deliver.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to inform client strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Client Services Manager, or similar role, and a proven track record at managing, retaining, and growing revenue in a data as a service / SaaS / tech environment.
- Able to establish strong, long-term customer relationships while capturing high-value growth opportunities.
- Comfortable going high & wide within organizations you manage and connect with new stakeholders.
- Comfortable to lead with insight and develop an understanding of customer workflows and customer value.
- Able to maintain high-quality customer engagement through phone, email, social media, and onsite visits and should be travelling to targeted clients each month.
- Record client engagement and communication on a CRM.
- Willing to collaborate with all business functions locally and globally to support our go-to-market outreach.
- Experience in the Technology, Banking, Payments or Lending sector is a bonus.
