Responsibilities
- Conduct research and interviews, turn around urgent copy and write to deadline.
- Identify stories that appeal to the readership.
- Use expertise to write big-impact investigations and commentary pieces.
- Support senior journalists and editors by researching news stories or preparing information for coverage.
- Understand and explain complex regulatory or policy topics, exercise strong news judgement and ensure attention to detail.
Requirements
- Great reporting, media or publishing industry experience or knowledge.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across international teams.
- Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent command of English; ability in other European languages an advantage.
- Newsroom experience, ideally from covering financial services regulation.
