  • Market awareness: Stay up to date with market developments, to identify and map market needs and business opportunities.
  • Portfolio strategy: Combining market knowledge and data analysis, develop a portfolio strategy that will deliver on STMJ targets and to ensure your portfolio remains fully competitive.
  • Relationship building: Stay in close contact with editors and editorial boards within journal portfolio, and engage with stakeholders across the research communities, including research institutes, societies, and funding bodies.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with team members and other publishing colleagues to help deliver on collaborative projects and goals. Participate in projects that are run across STMJ and contribute to projects within Elsevier that require STMJ representation.
