As an AI Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI-enabled automation and data solutions within Commercial and Corporate Finance.
This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on writing code, building integrations, automating workflows, and embedding AI capabilities directly into finance systems and reporting processes.
You will deliver production-ready solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and accelerate insight generation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven automation solutions for FP&A workflows.
- Write and maintain code to automate monthly reporting production, forecast preparation and consolidation, data validation and quality controls, and first-draft financial analysis.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load finance data between systems.
- Develop integrations using APIs to connect finance systems, reporting tools, and AI services.
- Prototype solutions quickly and move them into production environments with appropriate controls.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance existing automation and reporting solutions.
- Embed AI capabilities into structured finance workflows, including variance explanation support, automated commentary generation, and anomaly detection.
- Take ownership of the full solution lifecycle from concept through design, build, test, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
- Hands-on development experience with Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Experience building automation scripts, data pipelines, or system integrations.
- Experience working with APIs and structured data, including JSON and REST services.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and implement technical solutions.
- Experience working within or closely supporting Finance, including FP&A, financial systems, or commercial finance environments.
