About the Role: We are looking for an Energy Market Reporter to join our editorial team in London. In this role, you will cover developments across European energy markets, delivering high-quality news, price assessments, and market analysis that help customers navigate complex and evolving market conditions. Working closely with editorial and analyst colleagues, you will build industry expertise, develop an international network of contacts, and contribute to ICIS's reputation as a trusted source of market intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Covering a portfolio of energy markets in Europe
- Writing insightful, compelling news and market analysis and assessing prices
- Building and nurturing an international network of industry contacts
- Reporting on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner including use of data visualisations
Requirements:
- An inquisitive mind
- Knowledge or interest in markets and economics
- High degree of numerical accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent written and spoken English. Central and Eastern European languages would be an advantage but not necessary
- Passionate, curious, high-performing, accountable team players
- Price/commodities reporting experience or knowledge of energy markets would be an advantage but is not required
