The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

This role is accountable for driving operational excellence and tangible, measurable progress by identifying and delivering process improvement that enables our teams' productivity, removes low-value work and supports continuous improvement. You will be accountable for driving excellence in how Cirium teams own, improve and continuously evolve their end-to-end processes, enabling our internal teams to increase the amount of time they are able to spend on high-value, high-impact, customer outcome led work. This is a 12‑month fixed term contract.

By the end of the contract, we would expect to see:

  • Mature process documentation across our workstreams and functions
  • Automation and AI applied selectively, with clear rationale and realised benefits
  • Leaders able to articulate where value is lost in their processes and what is being done to address it
  • A sustained shift towards continuous improvement as part of day‑to‑day work with productivity and margin gains

Working with our Cirium teams, you will focus on understanding how work flows across the business and where improvements can deliver the greatest value. You will apply structured process thinking while bringing clear, objective judgement to the use of automation and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Mature Cirium's process documentation and mapping and create, record and embed process documentation across Cirium
  • Conduct workshops with key teams so they have clarity on their processes and are able to identify pain points and areas to improve
  • Partner with leaders to understand Cirium's process architecture and deliver a simple view of our business
  • Introduce and embed simple, repeatable improvement disciplines that teams can sustain themselves
  • Establish a fact-based approach to deciding what should be automated, simplified, standardised or deliberately left manual and be active in supporting this work
  • Operate as a credible peer and thought partner to senior leaders, helping translate ambition into practical progress

Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, transformation and change
  • Practical understanding and experience of delivering automation and AI‑enabled improvement
  • Experience with Six‑Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong judgement and comfort making trade-offs in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Curiosity, learning agility and a willingness to challenge established ways of working constructively
