Our client is a specialist Fine Art Logistics company based in Hertfordshire and they're looking for Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to join their growing team. Fine Art Logistics is one of the most niche and fascinating sectors in the industry. You'll be trusted with the movement, packing, and transportation of some of the world's most valuable artworks from sculptures and installations to gallery pieces across the UK and into Europe. Full training in fine art handling is provided. No experience in the sector? No problem.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving and escorting artwork to and from sites across the UK and Europe
- Assisting with the packing, handling, and installation of fine art and high-value items
- Working with a professional, specialist team on genuinely interesting projects
- Representing the business to the highest standard at client sites
What we're looking for:
- A valid HGV licence — Class 2 (Cat C) as a minimum, Class 1 (Cat C+E) also considered
- Experience handling specialist, fragile, or high-value items is a plus — but not essential
- A professional, reliable attitude with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work away in the UK and occasionally abroad
What's on offer:
- Class 2: £39,000 (£15p/h, 50hr contract) | Overtime at £21p/h
- Class 1: £41,600 (£16p/h, 50hr contract) | Overtime at £22p/h
- Industry-leading training in fine art handling and transportation
- Real career development in a truly unique sector
If you're hardworking, curious, and want a driving role with genuine variety and a skill set you can be proud of — we'd love to hear from you.
