Are you a driven sales professional with a background in international removals who's ready to take real ownership of a trade sales division? Our client, a well-established UK international removals company, is looking for a Trade Sales Manager to join them on a fully remote basis, with a competitive salary of £35,000–£40,000 plus bonus potential. This is a genuine opportunity to grow your own book of business, build lasting trade partnerships, and play a key role in the continued growth of a business that values initiative and drive.

The Role

As Trade Sales Manager, you'll be the day-to-day point of contact for the company's Trade Partners, providing fast, accurate pricing on both door-to-door and warehouse-to-door quotes across multiple opportunities. You'll own the full sales cycle — from costing and margin application through to upselling additional services — and will work to your own budget and targets to drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and the development of existing relationships. You'll work closely with the Operations Director to maximise container utilisation, and liaise directly with overseas partners to ensure smooth, cost-effective delivery every time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all the company's Trade Partners, delivering timely and accurate pricing
  • Apply solid job costing knowledge, ensuring accurate cost capture, margin application and upselling
  • Accurately maintain all bookings within the CRM system
  • Liaise with operating warehouses to confirm all operational requirements are met
  • Ensure customs paperwork is correctly obtained and captured
  • Own trade sales performance against budget and target, driving new business and account growth
  • Work with the Operations Director to maximise container utilisation
  • Build strong relationships with overseas partners to ensure seamless delivery

About You

This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role, so we're looking for someone who thrives on being busy and genuinely enjoys building a division of their own. You'll be:

  • Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable working on your own initiative
  • Ideally, you'll have worked a trade desk or sold international moves from the UK — or come from an operational background within removals, with strong job costing and P&L experience
  • Commercially sharp, with a solid understanding of job costing, margins and pricing
  • Well connected within the UK removals and relocations market, with a good knowledge of the key players
  • A confident relationship-builder, equally comfortable acquiring new partners and growing existing accounts
  • Organised and detail-focused, particularly around CRM accuracy and customs documentation

What's on Offer

  • £35,000–£40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
  • Bonus potential tied to trade sales performance
  • Fully remote working — genuine flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK
  • A key role in a growing division, with real scope to shape and develop it further

If you're ready to bring your trade sales expertise to a business that will back your drive and initiative, we'd love to hear from you.
