Job Description

Our client is a respected leader in the UK Removals and Storage industry—a multi-branch, long-standing BAR member with an excellent reputation for quality.\\n\\nThey are now seeking an experienced Sales Surveyor to join their team in London.\\n\\nThe primary focus of this role is to promote and sell the company’s services while driving profitable growth for the branch. You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, responding to enquiries, and proactively marketing the company’s offerings.\\n\\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Develop sales in line with the branch sales and marketing plan in the domestic, commercial, international and insurance areas.\\n\\n * Meet and exceed all Sales activity conversion, margin and revenue targets on a weekly basis\\n\\n * React to leads and enquiries contacting the branch\\n\\n * Expected to formulate a suitable removal plan bases on the information obtained from the survey\\n\\n * Proactively canvass and call on target accounts as defined by the Branch Manager\\n\\n * Account manage existing customers already with the branch\\n\\n * Work with the Operations team to establish appropriate service standards and to proactively and to proactively seek service improvements\\n\\n * Build good relationships with customers, offering a full range of customer support and services\\n\\n * Provide accurate scoping and costing for moves.\\n\\n * Identify and develop target markets via a range of marketing initiatives as directed by the Branch Manager\\n\\n * Provide advice on international moves\\n\\nExperience and Knowledge:\\n\\n * Previous field sales experience B2C preferably within the Removals Industry.\\n\\n * Good negotiating and influencing skills\\n\\n * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal\\n\\n * PC literate – Outlook, Word, Excel and Google
