Are you an experienced fleet professional ready to lead at a national level? This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a diverse UK-wide vehicle operation, driving compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence across the business.
THE ROLE
You will take strategic and operational responsibility for a large, geographically diverse national fleet of approximately 200 vehicles (3.5T–18T). Working closely with operational managers across the UK, you will ensure the fleet runs smoothly, safely, and in full regulatory compliance — all while keeping a firm grip on costs and service standards.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leading the management of a diverse, multi-weight national fleet
- Ensuring full compliance including Operator's Licence oversight
- Supporting regional managers with driver and vehicle compliance
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
- Overseeing workshops and service standards across the network
- Managing fleet costs, fines, and day-to-day expenditure
- Handling fleet administration — V5s, purchase orders, and more
- Producing weekly performance and compliance reports for senior leadership
