We are recruiting for a respected relocation and logistics provider seeking an ambitious European Manager to take over and grow their established European moving services. This role is replacing someone who has been with the company for many years, meaning you'll inherit a solid foundation of trade relationships, proven routes, and consistent business - with huge scope to develop it further and make it your own.

The company is starting recruitment early to ensure they find the right person and provide a comprehensive handover period before the current manager steps down. What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive European Sales & Business Development
    • Take ownership of existing European business and strengthen client relationships.
    • Develop new business across private client and trade partner sectors.
    • Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to grow European revenues.
    • Manage the full sales cycle: quotes, follow-ups, negotiations, and conversions.
    • Build on the existing pipeline while creating new revenue streams.
  • Manage European Trade Partner Network
    • Inherit and strengthen long-standing relationships with European agents and trade partners.
    • Build new strategic partnerships across key European markets.
    • Negotiate competitive rates, service agreements, and backload opportunities.
    • Develop and optimize European routes for efficiency and profitability.
    • Ensure partner performance meets quality and service standards.
  • Operational Oversight & Service Delivery
    • Oversee European pricing, schedules, customs information, and client communication.
    • Support operations teams to ensure seamless, on-time service delivery.
    • Manage client expectations and provide expert guidance on European moves.
    • Handle service issues proactively, resolve failures quickly, and protect reputation.
  • Strategic Development & Growth
    • Bring fresh thinking to an established operation.
    • Identify opportunities to expand services, improve margins, and increase market share.
    • Optimize routes, backloads, and commercial opportunities across Europe.
    • Work cross-functionally to align European services with broader company goals.

This is a central, influential role where you'll wear multiple hats - sales expert, partner manager, operations coordinator, and strategic developer.

About You

We're looking for someone who can respect what's been built while having the vision and drive to grow it further. You'll have:

  • Proven experience in European removals or International move management.
  • Sales proficiency - comfortable generating new business, managing pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Strong partner and relationship management skills, ideally with European networks.
  • Operational knowledge of European moving services, customs, documentation, and routing.
  • Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and pricing skills.
  • Outstanding multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach - able to work independently and take ownership.
  • Based in Kent, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, or the wider Southeast – HYBRID MODEL.

You might also bring:

  • Existing relationships with European moving partners or agents.
  • Experience managing both private client and trade/B2B European business.
  • Knowledge of EU customs procedures, export/import documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • A second European language (beneficial but not essential).
