Relocruitment is delighted to be working closely with a well-established and highly respected company that specialises in corporate moving and relocation services across London, the UK, and internationally. With a strong reputation for excellence, they provide tailored solutions for businesses and their employees, ensuring seamless and efficient relocations.

They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their London team in a hybrid role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and results-oriented professional with experience in the relocation or removals industry to play a key role in driving business growth.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and bid conversion rates.

With a competitive salary of £45K – £50K plus commission (to be discussed during the interview process), this is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company and make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage the sales process, developing strategic plans to meet personal and company targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead generation, including targeted email campaigns, direct outreach, and personalised cold calling.
  • Present compelling proposals and deliver engaging presentations to secure new clients.
  • Expand professional networks by attending industry events and meetings to uncover opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Support account implementation, assisting with client onboarding.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience (Essential):

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally in the relocation or removals industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to following up on enquiries and writing proposals.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to market changes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred).
  • Experience in developing proposals, quotes, and managing the RFP process.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience (Desirable):

  • Full understanding of the sales process.
  • Proactive, assertive, and able to take ownership of targets and strategy.
  • Commercially aware, with a proven track record of negotiating and closing sales.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong industry knowledge and market insight.
