They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their London team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and results-oriented professional with experience in the Relocation or Removals industry to play a key role in driving business growth. (Experience in similar Industries will be considered such as Immigration, Corporate Accommodation, Global Mobility etc)
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and bid conversion rates.
With a competitive salary of £45K - £60K plus commission (to be discussed during the interview process), this is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company and make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales process, developing strategic plans to meet personal and company targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead generation, including targeted email campaigns, direct outreach, and personalised cold calling.
- Present compelling proposals and deliver engaging presentations to secure new clients.
- Expand professional networks by attending industry events and meetings to uncover opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Support account implementation, assisting with client onboarding.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience (Essential):
- Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally in the relocation or removals industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to following up on enquiries and writing proposals.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to market changes.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred).
- Experience in developing proposals, quotes, and managing the RFP process.
