Are you a driven B2B sales professional who knows how to open doors, build relationships, and convert prospects into meetings? This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a specialist, high‑performing team operating in the dynamic world of workplace change — and to play a central role in fuelling their growth pipeline. You won't be cold‑calling into the unknown. You'll be provided with a curated pool of pre‑identified prospects — companies with active or upcoming workplace change projects — and given the tools, platform, and support to convert them into qualified appointments for an established sales team of five.
THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager, your focus is generating qualified appointments and Microsoft Teams meetings through structured, multi‑channel outreach campaigns. Using the Apollo.io CRM platform, you'll design and execute targeted sequences — email, LinkedIn, and phone — aimed at senior decision‑makers across procurement, facilities, workplace, and operations functions. This isn't a passive, reactive role. You'll be crafting compelling messaging, refining scripts, creating content for LinkedIn and email marketing, and working closely with the sales team to sharpen what works. It’s a role for someone who takes ownership, loves the process of prospecting, and finds real satisfaction in hitting — and beating — their targets.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Candidates will ideally come from a B2B sales or business development background within any of the following sectors — though we're open‑minded. If you can sell, we want to hear from you:
- Workplace change, fit‑out, or workplace design
- Commercial moving, business relocation, or removal services
- Facilities management or property services
- Office furniture, interior fit‑out, or FF&E supply
- Commercial real estate or property consultancy
- Document management, records storage, or shredding services
- Technology solutions (AV, IT, telecoms) sold into corporate environments
- Business services — fleet, energy, waste, or similar B2B consultative sales
- Project management or change management consultancy
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute outbound sales campaigns using Apollo.io
- Build and optimise multi‑channel outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone)
- Develop compelling scripts, messaging, and tailored value propositions
- Conduct outreach to senior decision‑makers and qualify opportunities
- Book appointments and Microsoft Teams meetings for the sales team
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity within Apollo.io
- Follow up in a timely, structured way to maximise conversions
- Collaborate with the sales team to continuously improve campaign performance
- Create LinkedIn posts, case studies, and email content to support brand visibility
- Consistently meet and exceed appointment‑setting KPIs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
ESSENTIAL
- Minimum 2 years' B2B sales or telesales experience, ideally in business services
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting and appointment setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to craft persuasive, personalised outreach messages and scripts
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and C-suite decision‑makers
- Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable working to clear targets
DESIRABLE
- Hands‑on experience with Apollo.io for campaign setup and reporting
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
- Background selling into workplace, FM, property, or transformation sectors
- Experience supporting or working alongside a multi‑person sales team
- Flair for social media, content creation, or email marketing
WHAT'S ON OFFER
- A defined and qualified prospect pool — no cold lists, no guesswork
- Competitive base salary plus performance‑based commission
