Join a market-leading removals brand as a Sales Consultant, conducting in-home surveys, building customer relationships, and converting enquiries into profitable bookings across the Basingstoke territory.
We are seeking a consultative sales professional to grow territory revenue for a well-established removals company. If you have thrived in home-based sales environments β perhaps selling flooring, home improvements, extensions, kitchens, or working in lettings/estate agency β this is your chance to bring those skills into a niche, recession-resistant industry with a trusted brand behind you.
You will conduct surveys via telephone, video, and in-home visits, prepare competitive quotations, and convert prospects into confirmed bookings using your relationship-building expertise and the strength of a recognized brand name.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct in-home property surveys and volume assessments to prepare accurate quotations
- Convert enquiries into bookings through consultative selling and relationship building
- Complete surveys via telephone, video, and field visits based on customer preference
- Identify customer needs, address objections, and position solutions against local competition
- Maximize revenue through upselling insurance, additional services, and competitive pricing strategies
- Achieve revenue and margin targets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Build long-term customer relationships and leverage brand reputation to win business
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven consultative sales experience with a track record of hitting targets
- Experience conducting in-home surveys, assessments, or quotations (flooring, home improvements, property services, etc.)
- Comfortable competing against local firms and differentiating your offering
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship-builder who earns customer trust quickly
- Full UK driving licence
- PC literate and organized with multiple quotes and follow-ups
Ideal Background:
You may have sold flooring, kitchens, extensions, windows, estate agency services, lettings, solar panels, or similar home-based solutions where you have visited customers, assessed their needs, prepared quotes, and closed deals in competitive environments.
Why This Role?
- Represent the leading brand in the industry β customers already know and trust the name
- Competitive base salary + car allowance + uncapped commission structure
- Defined territory with warm enquiry flow
- Blend of office-based (phone/video) and field-based surveys
- Career growth opportunity within an established, profitable business
- Full training on removals industry processes and systems
