Our client, a leading national removals and storage company, is recruiting 5 Driver/Porters to join their team based at a military facility in Cottesmore, Rutland. About the Role:
You’ll be part of a professional removals team working on and around a military base, providing high-quality relocation services. This role involves driving, manual handling, packing, loading/unloading, and delivering excellent customer service throughout every move.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and successful completion of relocation tasks
- Carry out point-of-work risk assessments as required
- Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles
- Safe assembly and disassembly of flat-pack furniture
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job
- Work as part of a supportive, professional team
What We’re Looking For:
- Clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Van driving experience in a working/delivery capacity
- Good level of physical fitness
- Manual handling and customer service skills
- Excellent spoken English
- Health & safety awareness
- Risk assessment knowledge
- Willingness to learn and develop
