What You'll Be Doing:

  • Take charge of day-to-day operational activity across vehicles, crews, and schedules.
  • Ensure all jobs are executed efficiently and in line with service expectations.
  • Maximise the utilisation of fleet and staff, working closely with sales/admin teams.
  • Maintain strict compliance with transport legislation and H&S guidelines.
  • Keep vehicle and driver records up to date and audit ready.
  • Proactively resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate your crew teams to deliver with pride and professionalism.
  • Help drive performance and profitability in partnership with the Branch Manager.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A strong background in transport, logistics or fleet operations.
  • Solid understanding of transport legislation, fleet compliance, and maintenance processes.
  • Confident leading operational teams and managing time-sensitive workflows.
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially aware.
  • Good with systems, Excel, and the day-to-day admin side of running transport ops.
  • Previous removals experience is a bonus — but not essential. Full industry training will be given.
