We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join one of the UK’s leading names in the removals and relocation industry. This role will drive revenue growth across the Maidstone territory, managing the full sales process from initial enquiry through to move completion, ensuring every client receives a professional, high‑quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys via telephone, video call, self‑survey tools and on‑site visits
- Accurately record all enquiries and quotations
- Identify client needs and buying factors
- Prepare costings, quotations and proposals within agreed margin expectations
- Follow up all leads to conclusion, maintaining strong conversion rates
- Promote and sell additional services such as insurance and affiliate products
- Liaise closely with operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports and pipeline updates
- Provide support to operations teams when required (holiday/sickness cover)
Key Objectives
- Achieve annual revenue, conversion and margin targets
- Ensure timely and accurate quotation and CRM records
- Support ongoing commercial development and process improvements
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in removals sales, business development or account management
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Commercial awareness of customer needs and market dynamics
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Experience conducting removals surveys
